Simon Butler
Chairman & CEO
Simon has a strong history of growing and managing companies for value in the United States and Asia Pacific having held various "C" level positions within the corporate sector, investment banks and private equity. Within the resources and banking sectors he specialized in mergers, acquisitions and private equity placement whilst over the past decade he has been operationally focused growing a number of technology firms to multi-million dollar EBIT lines and completing various trade sales.
Simon is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Contivio.com, Chairman of eOne Solutions and is also a director of a number of other successful organizations. eOne maintains OEM agreements with Microsoft Corporation and is the largest global Microsoft Dynamics ISV with over 14,000 companies using its products. Simon holds bachelor degrees in Law and Commerce.
Ihab Nakhla
Chief Technology Officer
Ihab has over twenty years research and development experience in large and mission critical IT and Telecommunication systems. Ihab's holds Masters in Engineering Science from University of New South Wales , Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering with honors from Monash University as well as number of IT project management accreditations. Prior to co-founding Contivio, Ihab held number of senior R&D roles in the communication and finance sectors including CTO Paymate Pty Ltd, lead architect of Optus’ 3G platform and Telstra's R&D contact centers chief architect. Ihab has number of innovations patented in Australia and abroad including the Contivio Angels, the world's first instant integration technology. Ihab’s experience with startups includes founding Tech Innovations Pty Ltd an innovative sports management SaaS company.
Chris Leong
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Chris Leong is Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Contivio.com where he is responsible for managing and scaling Contivio.com across its partner and direct sales operations. As one of Contivio.com’s earliest US employees, Chris plays an integral role in the Company's growth. With close to 17 years of experience in the industry, Chris joined Contivio.com from Contactual where he managed Strategic Accounts and Channel Sales Programs. Prior to Contactual, Chris held senior roles in sales and operations at Altigen Corporation.
Marc Phillips
US Advisory Board Director
Marc is a seasoned Silicon Valley entrepreneur and provides valuable stewardship across our North American operations. He is the Founder and CEO of SearchForecast, which provides website publishing software, diagnostic tools and solutions for lead generation via search engines and a marketplace to buy and sell websites. Marc's previous online research company, APT Strategies was founded in 1993 and sold to Jupiter Research Inc. (NASDAQ: JUPM) in 1999. In 2002 he also co-founded Austalia's largest affiliate company - Commission Monster and Viva9 in 2006, which were acquired by Blue Freeway Ltd in 2007.
In 2007 he was a founding shareholder of GlanceGuide, an online video metric solutions provider acquired by Nielsen in 2010. Marc was an advisor to Silicon Valley based Localyte.com Inc - an online travel community - acquired by NileGuide in 2010. Additionally, he is the founder of Content Revenue Strategies Conference & Expo, the first contextual advertising conference and expo and has authored 8 published books including 'Successful eCommerce' and 'The World's Best Online Advertising Campaigns'.
Hardev Sian
Technical Product Manager
Hardev has over thirty years of experience in research, design and development of systems within the Defence, Aerospace and Telecommunications industries. This has varied from high performance short lived missile guidance systems to safety critical high reliability aerospace and telecommunication systems. Many of the systems that he was involved with are currently in active service within the defence forces. Hardev migrated to Australia in 1994 and joined the ABC in their research labs and worked on the design and development of DCART system, this was intended for in-house use only but soon was exported to major broadcasters around the world. He moved to Telstra to work on the award winning Telstra’s next generation Intelligent Network and VOIP platforms as well as contact centre solutions.
Hardev brings to Contivio his vast experience in the design and deployment of distributed real time systems that are highly scalable and reliable. Hardev graduated from the University of Wales, UK with a Master of Science in Control Engineering and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Rita Guiguis
Chief Financial Officer
Rita is a Chartered Accountant with over fourteen years experience working with large corporates. She completed a Commerce degree at the University of NSW after being given a Co-op Scholarship in accounting. Rita began her career in the audit division of KPMG, one of the big four chartered accounting firms . In this role she was exposed to various finance functions of large corporations. She moved on to senior roles in Mirvac and Colonial First State where she managed the finance functions for Funds with over $500m Funds under management.
Douglas Lee
Contact Center Product Lead
Douglas has over fourteen years experience garnered in telecommunication and IT sectors where he worked on many mission critical systems in companies such as Telstra and Cochlear, developing and managing the development of telecommunication and contact centers applications as well as cross-platform B2B integration. Coming from strong technical background and hardened in every stage of the software development life cycle, Douglas brings valuable hands on approach to product development management. Douglas qualifications includes bachelor of engineering and Computer Science from Sydney University , and number of other technical and managerial courses.
